Technical Support Forums Troubles

Hello,

I am encountering a strange problem with the Technical Support Forums.
Whenever I log in, within about a second it logs me back out. Repeated
attempts get me nowhere. I sent an e-mail yesterday to info@unify.com for
lack a of better place (other than here) to report the problem and request
help. So far no reply. And so far the problem persists. Oddly it shows me
in the "WHO IS ONLINE" list at the bottom of the page. That is until I go
to another page. I tried doing the "Delete all board cookies" link at the
bottom. That made no difference.

Am I the only one having troubles? Would someone at Unify please look
into this?

Thanks,

Clifford Bass

You have cookies turned on, right?

Hi Jeff,

Absolutely! unify.com is set to always allow cookies. The last time I
posted on November 30, everything was working fine.

Hi Cliff,

I'm not having any troubles. Hmmmmmm. Do you have to log on each time or
have you set up the autologin? I don't see anything strange in your
permissions, etc. on the board...

Hi Mike,

I prefer to log in each time and as such do not have the autologin
checked. I will see if that makes a difference. Just tried it. It now
allows me to stay logged in, but now when I click on logout, it tells me
"You were not logged out, as the request did not match your session. Please
contact the board administrator if you continue to experience problems.".
It is beginning to look to me like that is something screwy going on with
the sessioning information. Just tried deleting all unify.com cookies and
temporary files. I am now back to the log in, instant automatic log out
cycle again.

By the by, I am running Windows XP with all MS updates, patches, etc.
and IE 7.

LOL, I didn't mean whether unify sent them, but whether your browser
setting was allowing them to *be* set on your PC.

Like Mike says, I'm not having trouble either (though I did have to
allow cookies for Firefox to get the conn. working. Which is why I
asked...) Hopefully, you and Mr. M. can get it sorted out.

I'm using Mozella on one workstation and IE7 on another and have not
experienced any issues - other than I'm not very excited about the web
interface.

Hi Jeff,

I think we were both being slightly imprecise. But I understood and my
answer translates to "yes", I am allowing them.
