I'll put this in marketing, since not being able to log in to Unify is
*certainly* a (negative) marketing issue!

Anyone else having trouble logging into Unify so you can do something
really simple like download their "What's new in TD v5.1" PDF??

-- I try to log in, fail!
-- different passwords, fail!
-- request a new password via email, get it, try it, fail!
-- verify cookies are enabled on my PC, try again, fail!
-- try again: another request for new p/w via email, try it, fail!

-- FINALLY I think I will let the webmaster at Unify know about this,
since at the bottom of their page they say: "To make suggestions on how
we can improve the website or to report a problem, please send an email
to webmaster@unify.com"

And guess what? The email is bounced back to me with:

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

webmaster@unify.com"

Oh, brother!?! Gee guys, I'm already IN your system, since you sent me
the Unify Team Developer 5.1 Now Available! email early this morning!

What's going on, Unify??

I had the same issue this morning with Firefox. Used IE and then tried to
login with my hotmail (which is already registered) but got an error about
invalid password. Clicked "Forgot Password" and system asked me to enter
email id. Entered my hotmail email id and clicked submit, got error that
email id was not found in the database. Tried to register again with my
hotmail id, but got a message that it was already registered. Finally ended
up re-registering with a different email id and it seemed to work.

You've had to wrestle with it too! I do use Firefox, so that might be the

Fixed the email address.

I tried logging in with my login/password onto the Unify site. No
problems with either Firefox 2.0 or IE7.

Send me your details privately, and I'll try to see what's happening

I think most of these problems are related to the many downloads of TD
5.1 we had yesterday. These caused reduced bandwidth and such delays in
email delivery and apparently email blackouts for some time.
