SQLBase 11.5 SP2 - Long Varchar

Hi,

i've some strange effects, when i inserts or update data to a long varchar
column.

There is an old master data table with a long varchar column (notice). Then
i created a notice table with also a long varchar column.

Now, when i insert or update the column of the master data table (customer).
It works fine. (I can transfer data >= 254). But when i do the same
statement on the notice table, there are only 201 Bytes in the database.

I use SQLBase 11.5 SP2 and SQLWindows 2.0, SQLWindows 2.1, SQLTalk, and
diffrent ODBC-Clients. Always the same.
(When i migrated to 11.5, i unloaded and loaded the dbs-file.)

Anyone have an idea?

NAME TBNAME COLNO COLTYPE LENGTH SCALE NULLS
UPDATES
NOTICE CUSTOMER 24 LONGBIN 0 0
Y Y
NOTICE NOTICE 4 LONGBIN 0
0 Y Y

Thanks for help.

Regards

Thomas (th.)
