shutdown windows from application

Hi!

My centura application has to logoff the user from windows.
Therefor i used the fuction ExitWindowsEx(EWX_LOGOFF, 0) of USER32.dll and it worked fine with
win2k. Now our custumer changed the OS to WinXP professional and the automatically logout doesn't
work anymore.

Does anybody know why? I think that a changed handling of user or process rights in WinXP can be the
reason.

I'm using CTD 2.1.0 PTF4 and WinXP SP4 (german) with latest updates installed.

Hi,

in XP it's necessary to set the processes priviledges.
I found an article on that inside the MSDN.
The link is:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;176695
