I think Jeff Luther has a utility that my recover most of it. You obviously
didn't know that all of your Gupta files should be saved as text. File
corruption of binary files has been an issue with TD forever.

Thanks for the plug, Jim!

FAUSTO: To see if the file is in text format or not, right-click on the
filename in Windows Explorer and open with Notepad. If you see "MGDR" and a
bunch of binary chars, it is in binary format. Otherwise you should be able
to read the text in the file.

1) If in text, look for the this item toward the top of the outline: Outline
Version - 4.0.xx
Change that xx to 27 and save under a NEW NAME! Now try to read it in with
your CTD v1.5. You will get some "not allowed" errors, but just keep
clicking OK until it reads in. BE SURE TO then save the file once read into
v1.5.

2) Another way is my utility, called TD-CONVERTER, is located here:
http://www.jeffluther.net/unify/#Utilities

but it only works on text files are are save in non-indented format. If you
see ".head 0 + Application Description:" at the top of the file in Notepad,
you are in business. Otherwise, it will be indented format and the CONVERT
utility won't work.

Try 1) above first.

In our experience, the source file corruption seems to be "triggered" by moving source lines in the outline using Alt+up/down arrow... took us a while (and some pain) to realise we should save files as text...
