cWebTable behavior under a Multi-User enviroment.

Dear Forum,

I have a reusable application that allow users to perform queries based on
different criteria. My cWebReusableForm instances is composed by: one
cWebComboBox which allow the user to pick from a list of Customer Name; one
cWebButton to perform "Find" operations and one cWebTable to display the
result set of a query (cWebTable display has been restricted to 50 rows per
page).

During my debug process I realized that if two or more users obtain
different result sets under multiple pages and let's say that User A was the
first one to get the result set and User B the last one to receive his, when
User A scroll to the next page receives the next page that correspond to
User B instead. Can anyony give me a hand on solving this problem so I can
have different table contents for each user. I will appreciate your answer.

Regards,

Conrado

Hi,

You need to override the resumecontext function at the form level and
repopulate the table window, I guess you maybe saving
the session information in the state variables which should be in the where
condition of your table window populate.
Hope this helps.

Sunil

Hi Conrado,

Do you have different XML files for each of the user logged into your
system,
if yes then it should be possible to load the table window with the XML file
corresponding to the current user.

Sunil

Thank You Sunil, I will do so. Would it be valid for me to repopulate my
table window from an XML file created with SalTblWriteXMLandSchema( )?

Conrado
