Dear Forum,

Does anyone knows how to use CWEXMLRefreshList( )? I'm trying to refresh a
list of customer "On Validate" event before submiting the page to the sever,
if I don't I get a "Invalid List Value" error. I will appreciate your
comments.

Regards,

CZ

Hi Conrado,

I've just checked this newsgroup and a couple of your problems all come from
the same source : The context.

As Sunil explained in the "cWebTable behaviour" thread, you need to override
the resume context function to manage properly the context.

The problem with your list comes from here, too. You need to understand the
system here. Since the manager reuse the application with different users,
you need to repopulate the list at the resume context, so the server can be
on the exact same "state" as the current user.

If you got this message, it means the server of the page which is submitted
is not the same as the page in current memory, hence the message : Invalid
list value. If you repopulate in the resume context (let's imagine you
repopulate on the server), the server will find the exact same context and
you will not have this message anymore.

As I said, it's the same kind of problem when the table which is returned
comes from another user, it's a context problem. You must use at least all
three functions (PgmReceiveControl, ResumeContext, ReusingCleanup for
tables, lists...) for the application to work properly.

Good luck,

Y.
