Guidelines for Creating and Participating in Polls

Welcome to the Polls & Surveys subforum!
Here, you can create and participate in polls to share your opinions and gather valuable feedback.

Please ensure that all polls and surveys are relevant to this forum and focus on Gupta OpenText products.

How to Create a Poll
1. Start a New Topic:
- Click "New Topic" to begin.

2. Set Up Your Poll:
- Navigate to the third tab, labeled "Poll creation", below the text editor.
- Refer to the image below for guidance:

3. Add Extra Information:
- Use the main text field of the topic to provide additional context for your poll.
- Explain the question in detail and clarify the meaning of each answer option, if needed.

4. Submit the Topic:
- When you submit, the poll will appear at the top of the topic page.
- Your detailed explanation will appear as the first post of the topic.


Editing Polls
To modify the poll:
- Edit the first post of your topic.
- Note: Each topic can contain only one poll, and it will always be displayed at the top of the topic page.


Community Interaction
- Members can vote in polls and share their thoughts by replying to the topic.
- All responses will appear as regular posts under the poll.
