Gupta forum can not be accessed

Post by Dave Rabelink » 06 Apr 2017, 09:23

The certificate on the read-only Gupta forum has expired.
I can not access it anymore (from FireFox).

Anyone else the same problem?
Regards,
Dave Rabelink

The certificate was valid until 5th April 2017.
But I can access the formum with IE11, I just get a warning but can click to go on.

Hi all,

with Google Chrome there is an option 'proceed to insecure site'.
That option uses https but the browser states the access as insecure.

The http-access (insecure) could be used too.

I created a ticket to fix the old Gupta forum.

OTCS Ticket 3017313 : Web Site Issue: Other website

They will fix it shortly. It seems the site is now completely down.
We will have to wait until it is up again.

Still dead. Wonder if it's intentional.

Certificate still expired - I also think that this is intentional :-(

The error I get in FireFox:

support.guptatechnologies.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate expired on 5th April 2017 klo 22.15. The current time is 8th May 2017 14.37.

Error code: <a id="errorCode" title="SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE">SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE</a>

I checked as well, and Henning (post above) is correct: Google Chrome does allow me to bypass the "Not secure" block I get when trying to access it from FireFox.

Hi all,

there is also the possibility to access the forum without 'security': https://support.guptatechnologies.com/su ... /index.php.

Yes, I recognized on Friday. Seems that opentext reduces user support for Gupta customers (no devcon/devday, ....)

You are right.
No developers conference this year...
What's to expect next?

Yes, the old Gupta support forum is down. The "new" OpenText Forum is more and more ignored by OpenText/Gupta. And yes, no Devcon/Devday... What could be the reason? The simplest answer to his question is that they have no more stuff to show us. Multithreading for the third time ;) ? TD Mobile 2.2? I think that TD Mobile is not really a success story... My developers refused to go on, so we canceled our support contract.

So indeed, what's to expect next?
