PDF/A3 and SAL

Post by Holger » 28 May 2019, 12:52

Hy together,

we have a customer demand to support electronical invoices in a format following the data format here, so called "Zugferd":
https://www.ferd-net.de/
As a summary, you take a PDF/A3 conform PDF file and embed a XML snippet with a certain format as attachement. So there is a machine readable part, the XML part and a human readable part, the pdf file.

So far we generate our PDFs via SalReportPrintEx( ). Had anybody else contact with it and can suggest a library or any way how to get PDF/A3 conform files out of TD Reports?
Also, does anybody of you use any C# library (e.g. this one: https://konik.io/ )to work with the Zugferd 2.0 Data format and can recommend it?

Thanks in advance,
Holger

Hi,
I am not sure whether Telerik reporting tool supports your requirement and integrate or just call it through win32.

thought to share couple of links for your view.

Hello Holger,
we found no native way with the TeamDeveloper. Here's what we have done:

We create with TD the PDF File and then we store the File(s) in the database.
We implemented ab WEB-Service which converts all PDF to ZUGFeRD Format and then the webservice
sends all ZUGFeRD invoices via email.

For conversion we use the mustang library (Tomcat/Java):

and there is a comparison chart (Konic vs. Mustang vs. Factur-X)
