RNG Used

I was wondering if I could get any information on the RNG algorithm used in Win32 applications?

information on the RNG algorithm used in Win32 applications
That's a broad question and if you really mean Win32 appls -- and not details on the SalNumberRandInit/Random() functions in TD -- then this is not really the place to ask that question.

From my searching: https://www.google.com/search?q="RNG+algorithm"
and seeing the list of results, it appears that there could be multiple implementations of the algorithm. For example, one such is described on this page from CryptoSys says: http://www.cryptosys.net/rng_algorithms.html

BTW, I have a demo of using the CryptoSys set of routines on my web page Samples' section: http://www.jeffluther.net/TD/#Code_Samples
though RNG isn't part of the demo.

Take a look at the Google search results list. That might be the place to better answer your question.

Random Number Generator. I.e. SalNumberRandom. I'm interested in knowing what sort of algorithm the Win32 and .NET versions use (these are different, according to the documentation).
