Crop picture in M!Image

Post by aspurga » 24 Sep 2020, 11:15

Hello,

In my application I need to crop a photo image as I need to prepare photo for permit printing. A M!Image library has a lot function but I don't see function for cropping. Maybe somebody knows how to get that using M!Image or can recommend a freeware library for that purpose.

Thanks,

Arunas

I think you can use MImgCreateCopyEx

Try: MImgCreateCopyEx() and maybe MImgResample() and MImgSetSize()

Thanks for the ideas. An image cropper ideally should have the opportunity to crop the image by dragging the crop area because manually to specify a custom size in pixeles almost impossible. The MImgCreateCopyEx() function requires to specify cropped image size in pixeles and such image cropper could provide required pixeles for the MImgCreateCopyEx function.
The creation of such cropper tool requires good knowledge of gdi32.dll library.
