we made an Addin for Outlook which connect via Sqlbaseoledb.dll to the database.
Normally it works, but on a PC of our customer we get no connection.
We registered the DLL with the command regsvr32 - the answer was "Dll registered". When we start Outlook and the Connection via Sqlbaseoledb, a message appears. Like "SqlbaseOledb.1 Provider not installed on this computer".
What are we doing wrong ?
By the way: the PC is using Windows8 - the database is Sqlbase 12.0 - the used Sqlbaseoledb.dll version is 11.7.
(The combination of the version of Sqlbase/SqlbaseOleDBl.ddl works fine on some other PCs! )

Try running regsvr32 as elevated. i.e. as Administrator.
an easy way to run as Administrator is to Open the start menu and type cmd into the search box, Hold Ctrl + Shift and press Enter.
When you run Regsvr32 to register a DLL, you are using the 64-bit version by default so.....
Assuming its the 32bit version, being 11.7 ,
try copying the DLL to C:\Windows\SysWoW64\
In an elevated command prompt: %windir%\SysWoW64\regsvr32.exe %windir%\SysWoW64\Sqlbaseoledb.dll
of course, 64bit versions can be copied to C:\Windows\System32\
In an elevated command prompt: %windir%\System32\regsvr32.exe %windir%\System32\Sqlbaseoledb.dll
