Hi,
With version 12 there was something of a shift in the installation process. 32-bit installs in the "Program Files (x86)" folder but no longer offers the option to install the 64-bit client. So when installing the 64-bit client it installs in the "Program Files" folder. Unfortunately 32-bit and 64-bit SQLTalk do not distinguish where their settings are stored so the INI location for one is the INI location for the other. If I change the ini location in the 64-bit SQLTalk to "C:\Program Files\Gupta\SQLBase 12.0\sql.ini" this then is what the 32-bit SQLTalk uses. And the reverse happens. While this does not seem to be a problem for me at this time; it could be for others.

SQLTalk 12 32-bit vs. 64-bit
Re: SQLTalk 12 32-bit vs. 64-bit
Thanks for the report, Cliff. I noticed this too, but I think it's been that way for a while now. I always install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions and am always aware of the sql.ini file that it's using with a Options/Session Settings.
Cheers!
Cheers!
