Re: EDP Install Maker
Hi Ewald,
Can you please supply me with a sample icon that you want to use? We need to see if this is related to the icon itself.
Best regards,

Hi Mike, enclosed you will find the ico-files. I've also tried with 24bit resolution, but no effect.
Thanks
Ewald

Re: EDP Install Maker
I just noticed that the icon is displayed in the Control Panel/Program/Uninstall program.
Maybe there is a misunderstanding but after the presentation at the Devcon I thought that the icon should appear in the setup routine. Where is the icon appear anywhere?
Thanks
Ewald

Re: EDP Install Maker
Hmmmm. I will have to check what the intent is.
How did you do the installer? Did you just create an MSI file directly from the EDP Maker? Which option did you choose?

Re: EDP Install Maker
Hi Mike,
I choose MSI Installer (Full Build).
In the meantime I have found another problem, that in 64bit version a file is missing for the command center. I will documente this case in a new thread.

Ewald

Re: EDP Install Maker
Hi Ewald,
I checked with the Developers today. Their response:
The MSI is just a file with the .MSI extension, the icons for those are determined by Windows and, to my knowledge, cannot be customized. Think of it like the icon for a .TXT file.
The icon the user can specify will show up when creating a .EXE, and in the control panel, as you noticed.
Best regards,
Mike
