Ambiguous ExtensionAttribute
Ambiguous ExtensionAttribute
.NET Data Provider for SQLBase 12.0 (Gupta.SQLBase.Data.dll) declares a class System.Runtime.CompilerServices.ExtensionAttribute which collides with an identical class in the .Net framework (3.5 and above). Compiler shows error "BC30560: 'ExtensionAttribute' is ambiguous in the namespace 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices'". How can this be solved? Thanks.

Hi Steffen,
Sorry for the late reply.
This is a known issue; using a .NET 3.5 feature, but compiling for 2.0.
This will be fixed with 12.1 when all will be upgraded to 3.5.

So, there is no chance for a service pack, then. Do you have an ETA for SB 12.1 for us?

Re: Ambiguous ExtensionAttribute
Thank you.
That is no good news.
Mike, is there the possibility to use the elder SB 11 .NET driver (which did not have that problem) together with SB 12.0.1?
Regards,
Peter
