Connecting Database. SqlServer

Post by rgonzalez » 08 Apr 2008, 17:58

I've been working with Centura & SqlServer for years, in my programs during the application startup I define sqlDatabase, sqlUser and sqlPassword variables before the sqlconnect and this working fine with the SqlServer security, however now i'm trying to change the security to windows security, I've already add a windows user to the database sqlserver security (and test succesfully in queryanalyzer) but i don't know how to specify this user and password to the sqluser and sqlpassword Centura variables, does it have to be take from windows environment variables?

Thanks in advance

Leave SqlUser & SqlPassword blank and enter DataSource name in SqlDatabase.

Gupta.ini stores the initial connection string, so you may want to check its contents. You can delete Gupta.ini, it will get re-created.
