Cannot connect do Informix using native router

Post by ivano_osti » 14 Apr 2008, 13:04

Hi. I'm evaluating TD5.1.

When installing it, I checked "Informix" native router and the others (Sybase, Oracle...).

The problem is that after the installation I could not see the informix and the other databases settings when opening "Connectivity Administrator" (attached). Then I opened sql.ini with notepad and put the informix settings but still I can't see the settings when I open "Connectivity Administrator".

SqlConnect doesn't connect to Informix. Database Explorer also fails.

Sqlifx32.dll is in the TD5.1 installation folder.

Please, I need help. Urgent!!!

Thank you.

PS:
1) Also attached my "sql.ini" file.
2) I'm using TD5.1 sp2 build 6597.
3) To see the Informix settings in my sql.ini file, take a look at:
[win32client.dll]
comdll=sqlifx32

and

[infogtwy]
remotedbname=penha,DATABASE penha, -hpenha7 -sonline1 -vinformix_db3
defconnect=off
longbuffer=2048000

Hi.

I could find a solution below:
https://support.guptatechnologies.com/su ... 303&p=3526

I could have a native connection to informix using i-connect 2.81.

jmgemperle: You wrote that you use "i-connect 2.9". Is it possible you provide me to install?

Thank you.

PS: I had success to connect but I just see "SQLBase" settings when I open Connectivity Administrator". Why?

"i-connect 2.9": It´s no more necessary. I've got it.

Thank you.
