Cannot connect to Oracle from Windows 2000

Post by Abey » 01 Feb 2010, 08:13

Dear All,

We have an application of TD 5.1 SP6, built using install shield.
Upon installation, It connects properly to oracle 9i/10g on windows XP; however, when the same build is deployed on Windows 2000 machine, it fails to connect to the database.
We have tnsnames.ora, sql.ini files in place including entries of database as required.

Can you help us know what can be the issue for not able to conenct on windows 2000 machines only?

Thanks & Regards,
Abey

How about a little help??

What are your error messages? Oracle router or TD router? OELDB, ODBC or native?
