We have a TD 5.1 app that creates a PDF which is then emailed to a recipient by invoking a SendMail procedure in SqlServer 2000. Outlook 2003 clients are able to open the attachment, but Outlook 2007 clients cannot recognize the file as a PDF. The attached file in the Outlook 2007 client is wierd in that it appears as "filename.pdf .dat" in the message window. Lots of spaces and .dat appended to the filename.
Any pointers to a solution anyone??

Have you tried creating a PDF external to your app., attaching that to an email in Office 2003, say, and sending to Office 2007 clients? If so, what's that file name look like?
Doesn't sound like it's a 5.1 issue, per se, depending on how you are creating the PDF. And what way is that? I'd test around the issue like I suggest to see if you can find out where (and why) this file rename is happening.
