MySQL embedded in TD application

Post by emsu » 04 Feb 2011, 11:15

Hello,

I would like to know if it's possible to embed a MySQL server in a TD application - via the library libmysqld? http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/libmysqld.html
Or is it only for C development?

If not possible - then is the only way to interface with a MySQL database via a ODBC connection?

BR,
Erik

That is the only way I know of. I haven't used MySql, but I believe some users have. Your post might get more visibility if you put it in the TD section 5.2, 5,1, Older releases. Or, maybe search the various TD sections and search for MySql. There may be a few threads on the topic.
