Hello to All,
I'm trying to connect from TD 2.1 SP4 running on a WIn2k3 server (32bit) to a Sqlserver 2008 R2 64bit database (running on different server). The odbc datasource is defined and the connection test was successful. When I try to connect with SQLTalk I get the following error message (see image below + odbc trace). My sql.ini has following contents
[win32client.dll]
comdll=sqlodb32
comdll=sqlora32
comdll=sqlws32
[odbcrtr]
odbctrace=on
odbctracefile=c:\temp\saperion_sql.log
longbuffer=32767
buffrow=10000
RemoteDBName=SAPERION,DSN=SAPERION
Has somebody an idea what is missing/wrong?
Any hint is very appreciated
Regrds
Hans

Re: SQLServer ODBC connection from TD 2.1 fails
the sqlserver driver on the win2k3 machine was too old. With niewer drivers it works.
