Connect via OLEDB

Hi All

I have looked through the forums here but I can't seem to find the example I'm looking for. I need to connect to SQL Server 2005 OLEDB. Is there any example that I could look at to help me achieve this?

Thanks for the response, but I read through the books and they don't specify how to use OLEDB connections. I saw that you can use ODBC but I'm trying to avoid ODBC completely. I've used it in my previous software and I don't like how it handles connections. I need to be able to connect to ANY database on a SQL Server WITHOUT having to include a SQL.INI file. Is this possible. Please find attached a test app that I did, trying to use OLEDB but it kept saying '"Access denied or server does not exist" even though I have full access on that user and I have allowed all connections to my SQL Server. What am I missing in i t?
