Installed TD 6.1 with no issues and now I'm trying to connect to a Progress DB by ODBC. This is on a Windows PC running Windows 7 64 bit. I can test connect to the Progress DB fine. I've tried connecting with a TD app to explore the DB and with SQLTalk, I get the same error on both "Missing Configuration Entry" I'm finding the SQL.ini fine, it's below
[win32client]
clientname=GUPTA
clientruntimedir=C:\Program Files (x86)\Unify\Team Developer 6.1
[winclient]
clientname=GUPTA
[win32client.dll]
comdll=sqlodb32
comdll=sqlws32
[odbcrtr]
longbuffer=1048576
odbctrace=off
odbctracefile=sql.log
remotedbname=mfgsys,DSN=EPICOR
remotedbname=jmc_database,DSN=JMCDATA
Attached is the screen shot of the error.

Re: TD 6.1 connecting to a Progress DB
Do you have another ODBC-type DB brand like MS SQL Server you can try? DO you have an ODBCAD32.exe User DSN name for either/both of those DSN name shown? (I guess you do, but I have to ask)
TD connects to a lot of ODBC DBs, and the only problems I've seen are:
* ODBCAD32.exe entry missing or not correct. (Can you Test Connect in ODBCAD32? That's another litmus test.)
* naming incorrect
* PATH perhaps incorrect so the wrong SQL.INI and/or wrong TD version's DLLs are being loaded
* ; comdll=sqlodb32 still comments (your INI is not) or INI is missing last entry of comdll=sqlws32 (your INI is not)
Then the error is generic to the TD install. I assume that's TD's SQLTalk -- the one in the TD folder?tried connecting with a TD app to explore the DB and with SQLTalk, I get the same error on both

Can you test in a 32-bit machine? TD/SQLTalk must run as 32-bit apps. Does Progress DB have a 32-bit driver?This is on a Windows PC running Windows 7 64 bit
