Team Developer will no longer use Update/SP nomenclature for releases

Post by Dave Rabelink » 22 May 2017, 10:35

The next TD releases for TD 6.3 and TD 7.0 (and up) will not use update or SP version numbers anymore.

Version numbers will be used instead.

For example, the next TD 7.0 version will be:
TD 7.0.2

The next TD 6.3 version will be:
TD 6.3.9 (the 9th update/SP after 6.3.0)

Thanks for letting us know, Dave. I personally like that method better, anyway, I recall that early SQLWindows used that method.

Being French-Acadian, I naturally struggle with my tilt towards verbosity, so I am always appreciate whatever wee bits of conciseness can automagically be brought to my vernacular.

Thanks, Dave !
