Hi Dave,

in the list of defects fixed there are 2 fixes related to Win 11 and Server 2022:
TD-26066 Provide a post qualification of Windows 11
TD-26067 Provide for Post Qualification for Windows Server 2022

But in the release notes there is no Windows 11 in "Supported systems"


Can we assume that TD 7.4.1 is compatible with Windows 11 ?

Beware: Gupta OpenText have decided to withdraw the TD 7.4.1 release due to the SalStrCompress issue.

They will release a refresh of TD 7.4.1.

Hi Dave,
I have installed and started building the files on this patch release. will there be any impact as there will be some DLL change due to this? but i am not using SalStrCompress. So should it be ok to copy the changed DLL?

A refresh means a complete rebuild of everything and released as replacement of the old setup.
So to be supported I would say to reinstall TD and the runtime when the new 7.4.1 is released.

There is no info on OT site about the withdrawal, the original 7.4.1 is still available for download.
What a mess with SalStrCompress.
And not to mention that for some of my feature requests I got an answer from the devs that it would break existing functionality (and I had to agree with them) and now they broke it all by themselves!

The new TD7.4.1 (v3) install has been uploaded to the content server.
In the release notes there is a new item resolved
"TD-26128 Modified SalStrCompress and SalStrCompressEx to use zlib(4) breaks interoperability between applications"

I have been trying a long time to make Test Drive from OpenText from here ("https://www.opentext.com/products-and-s ... ext-gupta- Team-Developer"). Even I have never received any of their answers or download link, no code. In addition, if the changeover is good (currently TD6.1sp6), we will also buy a full version.

I'm watching in the wrong place?
