AFAIK, Suren had to leave OT Gupta after the 5.0 fiasco.
It was sad to see him go, he had some very interesting ideas about the future of TD, way ahead of where the current version of TD stands today.
He had to pay for other people mistakes in my opinion, at least that was my feeling back in the days.
Maybe I am wrong, but...
