Normally I share the info but I'm unable to find the download.
There is no mention of a TD 7.4.5

Ah, it is truly there but can only be found when "searching" for it.

Search for "7.4.5" shows the "knowledgebase" article containing a download link.

Wow, what a stupid piece of shit functionality. The whole support site is junk, unusable, slow and painfully messy.

The release notes are easy to overlook.

It is an attachment of the knowledgebase article.

Yesterday I received a survey to rate the new portal. I took this opportunity, although this will not change anything.

I don't like it too :-(
In total, we spent 1 manday to switch to the new support portal and to be able to enter technical support cases again.

Also horrible is the amount of emails you get if you open a technical support case until it is closed.
E.g. if they have a solution, they send you every weekday a reminder to go to the support portal and accept the solution.
If your are in holiday, your inbox is spammed...

Hi all,

does anybody already use 7.4.5? I tried it with a project which i migrated initially to 7.4.4, the first programs compiled with 7.4.4 works fine, but the last one with 7.4.5 shows strange effects. I use PostgreSQL with the latest ODBC drivers, and it seems that bind variables for integer fields contain under some circumstances corrupt data, error message is something like 'invalid number format " 27" '.

Kind regards
Harald

HI Harald,

we use it with an AWS Aurora (MySql) and ODBC and we have no strange behavior, yet.

I know the "invalid number format" error from different situations (',' instead of '.' in SalStrToNum within the wrong language setting) and NLS missmatch from the DB driver and the Database. I can't remember which case exactly, but maybe something of this type applies to your setup.

Hello Timo,

thanks for your reply. I continued to test a little bit with different patch levels, so I'm sure it's a bug, and the bug exists already in TD 7.4.4. In TD 7.4.2 everything works fine, the same code causes no error.

Kind regards
Harald
