Clipboard memory

Team Developer 3.1 PTF 2, 3 GB RAM computer, 800 MB physically used, 2+ GB free. After numerous copy-pastes of whole lines (probably 20-30 times, groups of 1 to 3 lines), SQLWindows said the clipboard is out of memory.

Can you reproduce this in a later version of TD? If so, we can probably address this, but I'm fairly certain that it won't happen with TD3.1.

Yes, I can confirm TD31 does have this issue. It is hard to reproduce because there is no clear cause.

I have a workaround :

When TD gives the error, go to a sourcecode line, delete the last character on that line and retype it.
After that, the Copy/Paste is working again until the error reoccurs and apply the workaround again.

Hi Dave,

A bad choice of wording on my part I think. The 'it won't happen' was actually referring to this being fixed with TD3.1. That's why I was asking to see it reproduced on a version that is later than 3.1 (preferably a LOT later than 3.1 )

Hi and thanks for the answers guys. Unfortunately I'm working 90% of my time with 3.1 so there's very little chance to reproduce this in a later version.
