SQLBase Linux 64 bit driver to read from Windows 9.0.1 DB

Post by ptalokar » 01 Apr 2015, 03:24

Hello Mike,

We need to read data from GUPTA SQLBase 9.0.1 database running on Windows 2003 through an ETL tool Informatica Power Center 9.6.1.
Informatica Server is on Red Hat Linux 6.2 and we need to have 64 bit SQLBase ODBC drivers for Linux to read data from SQLBase 9.0.1 (Windows).

After installing SQLBase 11.7 SP3 ODBC Linux 64 bit driver on our Informatica server, we could login to SQLBase and query catalog tables however we are not able to hit required SQLBase database (Read privilege is granted on the user already).
We need Linix 64 bit driver compatible to version 9.0.1.

SQLBase DBname =VVCPROD.
Let me know if you want me to shar sql.ini file with you. I can share it on support@guptatechnologies.com.

Kindly consider this as an urgent issue.

Thanks,
Pranjali Talokar

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by:

>>we could login to SQLBase and query catalog tables however we are not able to hit required SQLBase database<<

Are you saying that you can see the structure of the database but not see the data? Are you getting an error when trying to read?

Best regards,

Mike
