SQLB-2445: Error registering Mail-Object (emsmtp.dll).

Hi,

I got that error after I clicked the "Install" button on the "Service" tab in the "Task-Database/Service Administration" dialog. It did say it installed the service successfully.

Added information. This is version 12.0.0. I had installed the 32-bit version choosing just the client and the SQLBase Command Center. In looking at the folder on one computer with 11.7.3 installed in a similar way it looks like the em____.dll files were not included.

Hi Cliff,

This is SQLB-2445. Some confusion and these didn't get installed.

Please move the emsmtp.dll from your 11.7 version and try the registration again. You may need to uninstall the service first.
