SQLB-2432: ODBC 12 - 32-Bit Crashes/Corrupts

Post by Clifford Bass » 15 Jan 2016, 01:38

Hi,

When I try to use ODBC version 12, 32-bit to connect to the database as soon as I enter the user name and password and tell it to connect it crashes. This happens both with Microsoft Access and with Microsoft ODBC Test. I tested it on two different installations of SQLBase 12 on two different machines. Once it crahses any further attempt to do anything, including trying to do a test connection from within the ODBC Data Source Administrator causes a crash. If I delete the ODBC entry and recreate it I can do a test connect successfully. But any further attempt to do anything again in Access or ODBC Test fails/crashes. Testing against a different database produces the same results.

A quick test with the 64-bit driver seems to work so it looks like this is limited to the 32-bit driver.
