TD-4181: Oracle problem with TD51 sp1

TD51:
column type varchar2 and length>255
long string is reponse unicode string fine.

TD51 SP1:
column type varchar2 and length>255
long string is reponse ascii string....

Change varchar2 to nvarchar2 is fine.
But too many columns must change.
Could new version fix this bug?

Hello,

From the description below only, it looks like the following defect:

TD-4181: "TD5.1 SP1 regression. Long string are now returned as UTF8"

This is targeted to be fixed in the next service pack or release. Please note the word "targeted", it's not a promise
