TD-15835: EMP5351 crash with Sybase

Application work fine with EMP5347 but if I install the EMP5351 I have a crash of cbi60.exe when access data on Sybase (with stored procedure)

Env: Win 7 x64 with Sybase Client 12.5.4 in x32

Question: Did you UNinstall EMP5347 first -- so your installation was a clean v6 SP2 -- before installing EMP5351?

Yes I have uninstall the old EMP before (we cannot install a new EMP if another is installed)

Some other customer (one) reported GPF with simple stored procedure since EMP5351 and this using SYBASE 12.5 client... This is something I could not reproduce with a TESTCASE from the customer when using SYBASE 15 client. BTW we did not certify Sybase 12.5 client, only 15, yet you can use client 15 against SYB 12.5 server.

I don't know if there is an issue with EMP5351 with SYB 12.5 client but with the 15 client I could not reproduce the issue. IF you can post a testcase I can give it a try with SYB 15 and EMP5351.

Also can you confirm if using SQLSYB32.DLL and GTLSI60.DLL of previous EMP or 6.0 SP2 RTM (in place of the EMP5351 one) fixes this GPF issue, if it does we know at least the issue is in the router, not in the TD runtime

I guess I'm the "other customer".

As I have told my support at Nocom in Sweden, I have tried using SQLSYB32.DLL (and GTLSI60.DLL) from TD 6.0 RTM with the rest of EMP5351 untouched and it fixes the problem in EMP5351. But as EMP5351 fixed a previus issue, this is not the solution for us.

Also, I can reproduce the crash with Sybase Client 15 on a virtual machine running Windows 7 (32bit).

Issue found SYB 12.5 or 15; since TD 6.0 SP2 EMP5351 invoking a SP might crash if using server charset ISO 8859-1 (Latin-1)
It does not crash with Code Page 850 (Multilingual)
