Hello all, great forum!
We have been using a couple Gupta products since 1991. We are trying to rescue (translate/export) approximately 1000 Gupta Quest reports to a supportable reporting tool. At a minimum, we'd like to rescue/read the SQL code in the proprietary app's QQT files, which apparently can't be easily read or deciphered using other means.
The 1990's vintage Quest Report Writer product used Gupta's .qqt and .qrp files. We kept it alive on an NT windows platform until recently, when the virtual PC on citrix crashed. Our IT Dept was unable to restore it to proper function, despite having NT and Quest install disks.
Anyway, I have read through internet searching that Report Builder 6.xx will read these native Quest files, so we are trying to find a copy of the Report Builder app. Can anyone advise me how to get a licensed or demo copy of Report Builder 6.xx? The manufacturer will not sell me one, and the links on the Report Builder 6.xx demo copy page are dead.
Thanks in advance for any help or insight!

Re: Need Help obtaining copy of Report Builder app
The obvious answer to finding a supportable reporting tool is to either use Gupta Report Builder or Gupta 'Q' which is the new version of Quest. We are trying to rescue (translate/export) approximately 1000 Gupta Quest reports to a supportable reporting tool.
Report Builder ships with every version of Team Developer , the latest being v7.1.1, and I believe it will open any version of .qrp, or .cqt.
You need a license for TD which I don't believe...
I do know you are able to buy 'Q' stand alone and its not a bad price. The manufacturer will not sell me one
You can go here to find out more / where to order: https://www.opentext.com/products-and-s ... -databases and click on the 'Products' tab
