Printing issue with Report Builder 4.2

Post by samir » 11 Feb 2011, 10:38

Hello

I need assistance on ReportBuilder 4.2.
I got a problem to printing with a matrix printer.
Indeed, I want to print with a paper roll but I cannot (the edition is not
page per page but continuous, there must be no page loading between 2
edition which is actually not the case)
Thus, I would like to know if it 's possible to manage the paper supply of
the printer with report builder, in other words , I would like to know if
there is any TD functions or other options to manage that.

thanks you for your answer

From the windows menu...

Report>Format>Report>

On page size tab set the page height to a large number.

Your idea did not solve my problem because the software which manage printing said that footer and header page are too big for the sheet.
So thank you but have you an other idea?

Hi Samir.
I don't understand you problem, but here ( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BVPPEAQR ) is one report we use to print on matrix printers with Generic/Text only driver. The paper size is 14x11 inches but we have never had any problem with other formats. May be you have to configure the Server Properties as shown in attachments.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If the printer is throwing the page size exception, maybe the printer has a setting for a continuous form. I know that is the case with our Star reciept printers.
