Hello,
I tried to generate a proxy for a class thats implemented in the mscorlib assembly.
As this assembly resides in the GAC, I choose that option an clicked Next.
After the list was completely loaded (I verified by scrolling down), I clicked the first row and began to type "mscor".
But as nothing happened, I believe, that there is currently no "search on type" capability in the list.
(Image shows the .NET Explorer window after typing "mscor"!)
I think, that this will be a nice feature.

Re: TD-14420/TD-13653: [.NET Explorer] Search in GAC list
During the beta test I did post a feature request concerning searching items in the .NET Explorer.
Here the request copy/pasted from
https://support.guptatechnologies.com/su ... =60&t=5275
I would like to see a search option in the .Net Explorer Wizard.
When the wizard shows the list of Assembly names and further on the Class list, it is hard to find the wanted item in the list by scrolling.
It would be nice to have a search box to type in (part) of an item name to locate it in the list.
For instance, if I look for DriveInfo, i do not know in which class/namespace to look. In this case System.IO.DriveInfo.
So I need to scroll the list and see DriveInfo popup somewhere.
The searchbox could offer me to type in DriveInfo and then locate the System.IO.DriveInfo row in the list.
Answer from Duane
Certainly something we will consider for 6.1 (Enhancement request: TD-13653 )
Thanks for the suggestion!

Hello,
I absolutely agree with Dave's wish.
Maybe a combination of both enhancements will be an optimal solution.
