Hi,
I need to print over 8000 reports with SalReportPrintFile format PDF.
In CTD63 SP1 the program crashes after some reports (Dialog box EndDocument: Failed to create PDF document Exception: LineNumber: 92)
In WIN10 CTD61 SP2 works.
Any ideas?
I attach a simple program.

Re: SalReportPrintToFile crash
I do not see a reason from the code.
Reading the fixlists though, I find these fixes:
Did you try the latest TD63 version to see if the crash is there?
(latest = TD 639)
Reading the fixlists though, I find these fixes:
Code: Select all
TD-63-UPD2-45680 (UPDATE 2):
TD-20942 Cryptic PDF exception from TD SalReportPrintToFile() in specific scenario
TD-63SP2-UPD2-45680 (UPDATE 2):
TD-23305 SalReportPrintToFile() crashing when passing binary data of certain size to QRP
(latest = TD 639)

Re: SalReportPrintToFile crash
I can reproduce it on TD 6.3 SP2 and TD 7.0.3.
I recommend to create a OpenText ticket for this issue.
Looking at the code, the QRP file and the produced tmp files there seems nothing wrong.
Also saving each PDF to unique filename does not solve it.

Re: SalReportPrintToFile crash
Hi, sorry to reply here but I think a user inside my company has a similar issue, the only difference is the line number inside the popup error message, it's 210 in my case but, popup is the same.
User has a Win 10 64 bit machine, while I have a Win 7 64 bit and I don't have any issue at all. So, apparently this is something related to Windows 10 anyway, are you facing this issue on Windows 10 o also on 7?
Thank you very much.

Hello,
in win81, win10 the program crashes with TD6.3 SP1 and 9 (I don't have win7 machine in TD63 to test...).
You can try with the attached test program.
