Re: TD-20891: SalReportPrintToFile to PDF
Any news on the PDF issues?
Not sure I can wait for TD62 SP3, maybe you could put it in an EMP?
Regards,
Alexander

Both TD-20891 (image mixing) and TD-20892 (PDF size) are confirmed fixed and will be in the UPD622.1 release, scheduled for 14 July. Please note that this is a *target date* and this could slip based on regression testing, etc.
TD-20849 (MAC problems) has been pushed back to TD6.3.

Re: TD-20891: SalReportPrintToFile to PDF
These are really bad news for us because MAC problems are much more important for us.
Our customers dont take care of PDF size, but they have a lot of additional work with non printable PDF on MACs.
Now we have to tell them that there will be no solution for at least another 6 month or so.
I am sure that we will loose even more customers due to this issue, some of our important customers announced this.
Now we have to think about other plans for our survival.

Hi Dietmar,
I have just escalated this to EMP622.3. Let's see if I can get agreement with Development on this addition.

I agree that TD-20849 should be fixed asap
This is an absolute showstopper for me for TD6.2 as well.

Re: TD-20891: SalReportPrintToFile to PDF
Hi all,
After much discussion between Development and my Manager it's been decided that we won't be providing an EMP for this issue.
We're changing our processes in an attempt to give customers a better service by scheduling releases in advance.
EMPs for issues that do not involve production or development *down* situations cause delays in our release cycle due to constant interruption to the development work.
Therefore we've started delivering more frequent updates for TD6.1 and 6.2 which will hopefully help our customers better plan their own release cycles as well. Updates for TD will become available on a monthly basis and Service Packs will come out after every two updates for a specific version.
As of now, here's our planned release cycle for TD6.1 and TD6.2:
Update name/Target Release Date
6.2 SP2 Update 1: just released
6.1 SP5 Update 1: August 31st
6.2 SP2 Update 2: September 14th
6.1 SP5 Update 2: October 14th
6.2 SP3: November 14th
6.1 SP6: December 14th
6.2 SP3 Update 1: January 14th
This defect is currently set to be fixed in the SP3 release.
Best Regards,
Mike
