TD-20891: Images on report header randomly switch

Post by Techdrill » 09 Jul 2014, 15:32

Dear Support,

we are currently experiencing issue with reports. We are using two images (logos) on report headers.
and using object variables to pass images from app to report.
These two images somehow randomly switch. Normally it does not happen on the first page.
Sometimes even complete reports are Ok.
Please find repro-case attached with generated reports (test160135.pdf ( page 5 ) and test160138.pdf ( page 8 )).
These two reports are generated one after another and are different.
We are using TD 6.2 SP1 and would appreciate some feedback if this can be reproduced in SP2 and if this
can be reproduced we would welcome some hints what to do with our +/-100 reports.

Kind regards,
Igor

After doing additional search I found that this might be the same thing as TD-20891 image mixing?

it is not only switching, sometimes left and right say 'left' or left and right say 'right'.

I slightly modified your testcase to get more pdf-Files without clicking endlessly.
A loop that will print 1000 documents including a SalPause(1001) to avoid duplicate filenames.

Below in the attached picture you can see what happens after printing about 669 documents
(this can be reproduced!)

On the left you see a vmmap timeline in the background, in the foreground the message that came up.
After clicking OK a similar message came up with 'Linenumber: 211'

Tested with TD 6.2 SP1.
Modified Testcase attached.

Please have a look at this and Gupta, please repair, if there is sth to repair!

Best regards
Henning
