Have a look at SalGetProfileString
Or, here are some api functions:

RegOpenKeyEx
RegEnumKeyEx
RegCreateKeyEx
RegQueryValueEx
RegSetValueEx
RegDeleteKey
RegDeleteValue
RegCloseKey

You can look for more specitfications on the MSDN...
