Hello,

I read the following in tdnotes_windows_40.htm from the TD2005-CD:

"This version of Team Developer drops support for the Object Compiler"

Why? I need the object compiler (with TD 1.5.1) for fast string operations /
loops!
Is there someone how knows more about it?

regards

Tim

The official word I got from Gupta was:

"Team Developer 2005 will not include the Object Compiler anymore. We are
planning to Open Source the Object Compiler so customers can continue to use
it."

I haven't yet seen an announcement, or even an hint of timescales, for
public access to the Object Compiler open source project.

I urge Gupta to announce when it will be available !!!

Put the sources on the Gupta WebSite for download so i can get
starting to patch it for use in TD3.1 !!!!
