This function with

Call VisTblAutoSizeColumn( hWndItem, hWndNULL )

does not work propely all the times.

I am using it in a class and have tried with discardable Yes and No.

DOes anybody have any idea.

Well, you don't show the actual code you wrote showing how the Vis function
is being used. And when you say "in a class" (and are passing hWndItem) as the
1st parm, is to think perhaps hWndItem isn't the handle for what you think it
is. Is the function called from a msg. sent to the column? How about showing us
the code fragment where Vis() is being called.
