I have a main window with a toolbox window (WS_EX_TOOLWINDOW):
How can I prevent the deactivation of the main window, when I click on
the toolbox window?

thanks
markus

I think it as the WS_EX_NOACTIVATE extended style for createwindow.

Here ist the example

The caption of the Main window loose the blue color, if I activate the toolwindow
- If I create toolwindow as child, WS_EX_NOACTIVAT does not work.
- If I create toolwindow with parent hWndNULL, it will still be activated, if I jump between GUPTA Windows!
It wont be activated form others

thanks

Helle Markus,
I have never done this using TD but the MFC provides code for this
feature. But is a little bit complicated.
You should set up a MFC demo Application with a tool window and watch
the code in CMiniFrameWnd::OnNcActivate!
Perhaps you can catch the WM_NCACTIVE also in TD.
