Hello,

I have to access a file which is on a *password protected* directory on a
shared ressource like this \\server\rep\dummy.txt

Is it possible with sqlwindows to access this file using login/password
hardcoded in the source ?

Thanks in advance.

G'day,

Not sure if this is what you're looking for: VisDosNetConnect()

Cool, I didn't know this function!

But unfortunately, it works only if the login is the same as the os user
name :-(
And here it's not the case.

I search on the windows API side... to be continued.

See if you can use the WNetAddConnection() / WNetAddConnection2() /
WNetAddConnection3() SDK API's
