SalXMLSerializeUDV / SalXMLDeserializeUDV

Hello

I have a problem with the new xml functions.

The Serialize works very fine.
When I try to Deserialize a number item i get an error.

"Could not evaluate expression: Set
Modellfunktionen.Items[0].Modellstellen[0].nAnforderungswert = 64,34"

At the serialize the decimal sign is a ','
At the deserialize the functions want's a '.'

I'm working on a german windows system.

Is this a bug?

thanks for help.

Jürgen

Hi suni,

I think, there is a problem with SalXMLSerializeUDV/SalXMLDeserializeUDV
and German regional settings, but your test program is not correct.

Try this and you will see the error.

Bernd

Hi Bernd,
Now I could able to see the problem. Seems to a bug. But once I customized
the regional setting decimal point to dot it worked with out any issue.
To do this invoke the Regional and Langauge option. Select the customize
tab and set the decimal point symbol to dot.It worked fine
for me. As the value is persisted and returned correctly , for time being
you can use the workaround I suggested in my previous mail.
More I can see the XML generated persist the data with out "," and I guess
there is an unhadled catch in compiler.

suni
