TD2005 CDKCreateItem() crash @ instruction 0x73dd11c7

Several people have reported a TD2005 crash, with the
details: 'The instruction at "0x73dd11c7" referenced
memory at "0x00000004" ... cannot be read.'

I'm consistently finding this crash using the CDK in
1 or more top-level windows. The crash--along with the
same instruction and mem. address info--always happens
in a call to the CDK function CDKCreateItem().

TK (Thomas Kratzke) reported this on 13 Oct. in the CDK
area of this forum and provided a sample. I converted the
sample back to TD2005 (from .1) and find it a good example
for showing the crash. I'll attach the appl. and a png of
the error msg.

I've also back converted the test to v2.1 and v1.5 and see
this same bug showing up in those earlier versions. Same
memory address! I'll attach those test versions too.

Unzip each zip file into its own directory--each zip has
its own version of newapp.app, used by TK's test--and click
on the "los" pushbutton. At somewhere between 21-25 the appl.
will crash.

(I'd hoped that the 2005 PTF1 release had fixed this,
but no such luck...)
