PHP automatisiert Word

I am assuming that this covers only ODBC access to SQLBase. If so, it
is too bad that there is no native drivers written in PHP for SQLBase.
That would be great.

Hi Bud,

your are right. My tutorial based on ODBC/SQLBase. But SQLBase
is closed source. Only Gupta has the knowledge to develope
a native PHP Driver (like PHP 5.1 PDO) I think.

Many thanks!

Hi Thomas,

You are absolutely right about the closed source. However, there is a
CAPI interface that could probably be used to develop a php dll. I
admit it could take a bit of work, however. On the other hand, there
are many folks that have used PHP for development work including myself
that would like to see it happen. Maybe someone in Gupta can see the
marketing exposure value that could materialize out of such an endeavour.

G'day,

Bud
