hi,
While migrating from Centura 1.2 to team developer 3.1, i got an error

"Function arguments does not match the declared datatypes Check for
possible datatype conflicts".

This points to a particular function call with variables passed.
Any pointers as to why this error occurs and how to correct this??

thanks
pradeep

"Function arguments does not match declared datatype, check=AD for
possible name conflicts"

Could be caused by the following...

Added new Registry Key for StrongTypeChecking (Defect #72642=AD)

A new DWORD registry key is added in the registry to control=AD the
compiler's type-checking behavior on UDV array parameters:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERCenturaSQLWindows 2.0StrongTypeCheckin=ADg

This enhanced type checking is a new feature of CTD 2.0. The=AD PTF2
installer adds this registry key and sets it to a value of 1=AD. The
value of this key can be changed with the Registry Editor.

If the above registry key has a value of 0, the compiler wil=ADl allow
derived type UDV arrays to be used as parameters to function=ADs that
expect a UDV array of the base type from which the actual pa=ADrameter
is=20
derived.
