TD5.1 & Oracle 11g & Windows Server -> crash or memory hog

Hello!

My TD application is build with TD5.1/SP6 and it runs fine when I run it on
Windows XP/SP3.

When run on Windows Server 2003 there are sometimes huge memory usages
(800Mb or more), or the program crashes.

How could I trace this problem ? Is there a way to debug a compiled TD
application ?

Thanks in advance, every pointer is appreciated!

Best regards,

Jaakko Terhonen

Charlie

I'd start by modifying the app with some well placed calls to
SalMessageBox() to try and narrow down at point the application starts
chewing up memory.

Thank You Charlie!

I also got a tip from Jeff Luther: use SalTrace + check all
SqlPLSQLCommands. SqlPLSQLCommad can have memory leak but it can be replaced
by SqlOra* functions.

Best regards,

Jaakko
